The Refocus Specialist operates within a regional school to assist school district students directly with tutoring, guidance, and behavioral management within the school setting.
OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:
This is a professional position responsible for managing and coordinating a multitude of facets of a child’s treatment in the Partial Hospitalization Program. Works closely with the assigned therapist and clinical care staff to complete evidence-based treatment plans and ensure on-going quality of treatment.
OVERALL PURPOSE: To process referrals for all Outpatient Clinic services and manage the overall operations of the Clinic to ensure a conducive environment that uses the philosophies of Sanctuary to effectively deliver services to all clients and families and provide a safe work environment for staff.
Provide therapy to children, adolescents and families in identified school sites as well as in Sarah Reed’s outpatient clinic. Work collaboratively with personnel at assigned schools to ensure that student needs are met through on-site sessions, or work with team to coordinate appropriate referral to one of Sarah Reed's other programs. Staff provide direct care and supervision of children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges. Conduct Sanctuary® -based group activities for social and emotional development of children ages 5-18 in campus residential treatment setting.
The Unit Manager is responsible for supervising the staff assigned to the Treatment Unit of the Residential Program. This position is also responsible for the daily operation of the Treatment Unit.
