What You’ll Do

As a Residential Youth Counselor you’ll be part of a dedicated team supporting youth ages 5–18 in our Residential Treatment Program. You will:

  • Provide daily supervision, care, and support for residents in a structured, therapeutic setting.
  • Lead fun, meaningful, and age-appropriate group activities that promote life skills and positive behavior.
  • Support individualized treatment and behavior plans developed by our clinical team.
  • Model healthy coping skills and problem-solving techniques.
  • Maintain accurate daily documentation and communicate progress to the team.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred (eligible for $22/hr starting rate)
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience working with children or adolescents preferred - with adjustment for previous relevant experience
  • Other Requirements:
    • Reliable transportation
    • Ability to obtain all required clearances
