The Refocus Specialist operates within local each school to assist school district students directly with tutoring, guidance, and behavioral management in a school setting.

Experienced Child and Adolescent Therapist - Join Sarah Reed Children’s Center as a trauma-informed clinician providing compassionate psychotherapy to youth (ages 5-18) with serious mental health needs in a supportive, multidisciplinary treatment environment on our main campus. This full-time therapist role provides individual, group and family psychotherapy using the Sanctuary Model and evidence-based treatment modalities. Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining clinical records and providing consultation and crisis intervention one evening or weekend shift per week. Consider a nursing position working with children and youth on the main campus of our Residential Treatment Program as a part-time/per diem weekend nurse. Collaborate with supervisors and staff to ensure a nurturing and therapeutic environment for clients receiving treatment.

Provide therapy to children, adolescents and families in identified school sites as well as in Sarah Reed’s outpatient clinic. Work collaboratively with personnel at assigned schools to ensure that student needs are met through on-site sessions, or work with team to coordinate appropriate referral to one of Sarah Reed's other programs. Make a difference in a student's life. Work with high school students with emotional and behavioral management difficulties in a small classroom setting.

Provide leadership and act as a positive role model for staff and clients as you oversee the shift and ensure quality treatment for children and adolescents. You will coordinate resources, develop a plan for the shift, and make certain that treatment staff are implementing daily age appropriate activities in alignment with treatment plan goals.
