Youth Behavior Counselor - 1st Shift/M-F

About the Position:

  • Supervise, guide and direct children and youth in daytime treatment program
  • Plan and conduct social skills and recreation activities in accordance with treatment plan goals
  • Lead groups and one-on-one instruction
  • Document behaviors 
  • Work within a team including a teacher, support staff, therapist, school district and case manager to provide treatment based on the individual needs of each client
  • De-escalate clients in crisis using Safe Crisis Management techniques


  • M-F Daytime
  • Full-time
  • School year and full year schedules available


  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid PA Driver's License or PA I.D. and Reliable Transportation
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education or related field preferred, but will consider combination of education and related experience 
  • Must be able to obtain clean FBI, PA Criminal and Child Abuse Clearances
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Minimum Entry Rate:

  • $13.00/hr. with relevant degree; will adjust for related experience
