Description: Therapist (Residential Treatment Program)
This position provides structured therapy to individuals, groups, and families by working in collaboration with the clinical treatment team. The therapist will work with children and adolescents ages 5-18 admitted to our Residential Treatment Program. Other responsibilities include:
· Conduct psychosocial evaluations and intake interviews
· Develop and re-evaluate treatment plans
· Document progress towards treatment plan goals
· Provide clinical consultation to direct treatment staff, nurses and other members of the treatment team
· Create behavior plans for daily use
· Collect and analyze data on behavior trends
· Provide crisis counseling and intervention
Staff members are expected to utilize both Sanctuary Commitments and S.E.L.F. Model, as well as be familiar with trauma-informed Cognitive Behavior therapies.
Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week. Schedule includes one 2nd shift and/or weekend shift, based on current programming needs.
Qualifications : Successful candidates must possess a master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field with a minimum of one year of experience with client population. Must demonstrate clinical understanding to meet the diversified needs of clients and provide them with activities for treatment needs as reflected in the individual treatment plans
Ability to obtain FBI Fingerprints (processed through DHS), Child Abuse, and PA Criminal History; Official transcripts and diploma to verify educational level. EOE.
Salary: Commensurate with experience and education; Exempt classification, but eligible for pay >40 hours
