Clinical Care Staff – Residential

Description: 

This position provides direct care and supervision of children and adolescents experiencing emotional/behavioral challenges.  Children in the Residential Treatment Program range from five to 18 years of age.

 Other responsibilities include: 

  • Crisis intervention and de-escalation
  •  Modeling the Sanctuary Commitments and utilize the S.E.L.F Model 
  • Conduct daily therapeutic group activities
  • Teach age-appropriate communication and social skills
  • Document client progress
  • Create behavior interventions to support goals of treatment plans

Staff members are expected to practice the Sanctuary Commitments and utilize S.E.L.F in promoting daily living skills, positive social interactions with peers and adults, and non-aggressive problem solving.

Work Hours: Full-time 2nd shift and Part-time weekend and morning opportunities available

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Early Childhood, or related field preferred; will consider combination of post-high school education and related experience working with children/adolescents in a therapeutic or school setting.

Requirements: 21 years of age or older; Ability to obtain clean clearances for FBI Fingerprints, Child Abuse, and PA Criminal History; Official transcripts and diploma to verify educational level. EOE.

CompensationMin base rate: $17.00 (with BA); additional adjustment for related experience. Hourly, non-exempt position classification.
