Mary Barr is Associate VP of Human Resources at Sarah Reed Children's Center, where she oversees employment, staffing, benefits administration, regulatory compliance, HR policies, and training for the Center's programs. As a long-term employee, Mary has the advantage of seeing many entry level employees, who often begin their careers with Sarah Reed while in college, and then advance into clinical and leadership positions, where they continue to make a difference for our youth in very meaningful ways. Mary is involved with HR efforts affecting mental health providers through the Pennsylvania Council for Children, Youth and Families and the Rehabilitation and Community Providers Association.

Emily Ferguson is a Staffing Specialist with Sarah Reed Children's Center. She actively recruits candidates for the Partial Hospitalization Program and the SELF/SBLP programs. Emily coordinates the employee rewards program in addition to the monthly President's Circle Breakfast for recognizing outstanding employees to continue improving employee retention. Utilizing her art background, Emily creatively generates different ways to recruit new talent for Sarah Reed through advertisements, job fairs, and building connections within the Erie community. She began her career with Sarah Reed Children's Center as a Clinical Care Staff in the Residential Treatment program.
